Since 4 January 2010, an unforgettable day with the spectacular and firework-laden inauguration of the world’s tallest tower, Globe Soccer and Dubai have played host to football, providing a testing ground for ideas and proposals from leading figures who live and breathe this sport, day after day. In its six editions held within the magic atmosphere created by the Dubai International Sports Conference of the Dubai Sports Council, the Globe Soccer event in the Emirates has taken on a key role as the meeting place for intercontinental football in the only window available with the short stop for the year-end festivities.

Road to The Event

Throughout the year we pave the road for the gala ceremony, driving engagement from fans while building awareness for the brand, leveraging social media in many different ways:
Creating over 3000 pieces of shareable content per year
Publishing multiple times per day, every single day, on all major platforms
Keeping up to date with major events and news from the football world
Engaging with a truly global community of football fans
Using data science to measure the performance and impact of our actions

Aftermath

Closing the year, and right after the buzz of each gala, where millions of people around the world tune in for 2 glorious days, it’s time to sit down, evaluate twelve months of continuous activities and delineate a plan for the upcoming edition.

We’ve been with Globe Soccer for over 10 years now, closely watching each stage of a blossoming global brand, and it never ceases to impress us how much digital channels and platforms have shifted and evolved in such a short amount of time. It has certainly been an outstanding learning experience for all of us at ODD.

And yet, it never stops. We're on for another year!
